Bio

I am the Cheese Mistress. I teach classes on cheese and cheese and wine pairing. This blog is to connect more with my fellow turophiles and to let people know about cheese events and new cheeses that have made their appearance in the U.S. My favorite cheeses are goat cheeses and anything stinky from Piedmont, Italy. I speak French, Italian, and German, and I have a Ph.D. in Romance Linguistics. I fell in love with cheese during my travels to Europe.
